The Crimson Dragon appears and warps everyone in front of a temple, where they find Goodwin. Goodwin reveals himself to be a Dark Signer and fuses himself with Rudger’s birthmarked arm. He challenges Yusei, Jack and Crow to a turbo duel in the air. Goodwin reveals that he lost the duel with Rudger prior to his battle with Yusei, and became a Dark Signer. He summons out both a Synchro monster and a Dark Synchro monster. He also reveals he was the Legendary D-Wheeler who flew across Daedelus Bridge. Crow manages to beat his Synchro Monster, but then Goodwin steals the power of the Signer birthmarks.
